aboutus

Austin High School's Girls Who Code is a club that focuses on bridging the gender gap in computer science/STEM through giving girls the opportunities and resources to learn and apply coding skills needed to solve real world problems. We hope to shape girls into creative thinkers and entrepreneurs by teaching members how to code apps for advocacy, social good, and their passions. Additionally, we participate in global and national competitions, like the Technovation Challenge, Girls Go Cyberstart, and the Congressional App Challenge.
